SHAAR ISRAEL – שאר ישוב Sh'ar Yashuv

About the Mission of Shaar Israel:
Throughout
the Torah God inspired instruction and guidance for Israel to be understood
in the latter days. According to the Hebrew calendar, we have entered the
final years of man’s dominion. It is the “preparation day” of the Great
Sabbath, the Millennial reign of God’s Kingdom on earth. At this time all
the tribes of Israel are called to awaken to their identity, to "reinherit themselves," (Ezek. 22:15, Artscroll Chumash,
p. 1175). They are called
to return to Torah, and its Covenants, (Mal.4:22), to pray for the two houses of Israel, (Jer.
33:24; II Chron. 7:14), and follow the prophetic directives in the books of
the Prophets of Israel. All the tribes of Israel will be regathered toward
brotherhood with Judah (Gen. 49:10; Zech. 8:20-23) who alone has kept his name and has been
faithful to the God of Israel (Hos.11:12; 14:8-9). Shaar Israel provides “an
Internet community” for those who identify as a “remnant of Israel”
according to these basic Biblical tenets.
Though it will be hastened (Isa. 60:22), this awakening and restoration is a particular sequential process as depicted in the gradual coming together of the bones of the whole House of Israel shown in Ezekiel's vision of the Valley of Dry Bones. They are the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes of Israel" which comprised the northern House of Israel of ancient times.
The full realization of this regathering will not come about till the coming of the Messiah ben David of Israel and the subsequent restoration of the Commonwealth of Israel (Hosea 1:11). Till then the two houses of Israel must walk separate paths though converging unto the homeward-bound “ancient, straight paths of the Torah.”
This site is one of the means by which this “convergence” is fostered in the linking together of the worldwide community of Gathering Israel.
